What are the welding tools?

Welding tools include: welding clamps, welding cables, angle grinders, flat shovels, welding rod insulation cylinders, slag hammers and wire brushes.

Welding clamps
Welding clamps are tools used to clamp welding rods and conduct welding current for welding.

Welding cable
Welding cable is a wire that connects the welding power supply to the welding clamp and the workpiece. Its function is to conduct welding current.

Angle grinder
Angle grinder is actually a small electric grinder, which is mainly used for grinding grooves and weld joints. If it is replaced with a wire wheel of the same diameter, it can also be used for other operations.

Flat shovel
Flat shovel is used to remove welding slag, spatter and weld nodules.

Welding rod insulation cylinder
Welding rod insulation cylinder is an insulation container that welders carry at the construction site to store a small amount of welding rods. The welding rod insulation cylinder can keep the welding rod coating dry during use after the welding rod is taken out of the oven. Its internal working temperature is generally 150~200℃, and the output end of the welding power supply is used as the heating energy source.

Slag hammer and wire brush
The main function of the slag hammer and wire brush is to clean the weld surface, the welding slag between the weld layers, and the rust and oil on the weldment. Commonly used slag hammers are 0.5kg and 1.5kg. The two ends of the hammer are often ground into a cone or flat spade shape.
