The main process of the accident

The main reasons for the accident

(1) The direct cause of the fire was that several welders had not received professional safety and technical training and were working without special operation certificates;

(2) No preventive measures were taken, and the rough construction caused the red-hot welding slag to splash, igniting flammable items such as wooden furniture and sofas in the furniture mall on the second floor of the basement;

(3) In a panic, it was impossible to use a water hose to pour water on the ground to save themselves. Several people left the scene without calling the police in a panic, missing the best time to extinguish the fire and evacuate people, and finally led to a tragic accident.

How to prevent accidents?

(1) Welders must be certified to work and pay attention to fire prevention during welding;

(2) Proper protective measures should be taken in the welding site;

(3) Special personnel should be arranged to monitor fire sources;

(4) Flammable materials should be kept 10 meters away from the workplace;

(5) A certain number of fire-fighting equipment should be available, such as sand boxes, foam fire extinguishers, etc.;

(6) Call the police immediately after the accident to minimize the fire loss;

(7) Strengthen the professional ethics education of employees.
