The welding rod E7016 is the AWS grade of the American Welding Society, with a tensile strength of 470MPa, a yield strength of 390MPa, an impact toughness of 100J (-50°C), and a section elongation of 30%.

The full name of 7016 electrode is E7016 electrode, that is, low hydrogen potassium carbon steel electrode, which is suitable for welding medium carbon steel and important low alloy steel. This kind of electrode should be dried before use, and the weldment should be processed. It is necessary to clean up the oil stains, rust stains and moisture on the surface.
